Connecting nursery furniture sales with forest protection.
One Tribe helped Million Dollar Baby Co. source carbon credits for manufacturing and logistics, then bring tree protection into purchases across six consumer brands.
See how we did it
The furniture manufacturer wanted transparent carbon procurement and a way to involve families buying its products.
Carbon portfolio sourcing, six-brand integration and impact tracking
The team wanted to see exactly what its carbon budget supported.
Million Dollar Baby Co. manufactures and distributes nursery furniture across the United States. It was already reviewing supply chains and materials to reduce its environmental footprint, and had calculated its Scope 1–3 emissions.
The next challenge was sourcing high-quality carbon offsets for remaining emissions. Previous procurement through logistics providers had involved high commissions and limited transparency. The team wanted a more direct, understandable service aligned with its values.
Address manufacturing emissions and make product sales part of the programme.
One Tribe sourced a diversified portfolio across six projects, including nature-based and renewable energy activity. It also connected the environmental programme with the company’s consumer-facing stores.

A family’s purchase could support conservation.
The store integration made tree protection part of buying a crib. That gave the company a direct way to involve customers, alongside its separate work to procure offsets for manufacturing and logistics.
The team could monitor the activity through One Tribe’s technology and use the results to communicate its environmental work across its brands.

Programme outcomes from this partnership. Tree-protection contributions and carbon offsets are separate activities.
The partnership delivered a portfolio of six internationally based Verra-certified offset programmes. The associated projects supported benefits for 30 communities worldwide.
Combining procurement with the consumer-store integration gave the manufacturer two distinct ways to act: account for remaining operational emissions through carbon credits, and connect product purchases with rainforest conservation.
