What the project does.
The Tejuva-Chandgarh Wind Project is a pioneering renewable energy initiative develped accross two sites accross the wind-rich states of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, Utilizing 94 advanced wind turbine generators (WTGs), the project will deliver clean and sustainable energy to the Indian grid.
At the Tejuva site in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer District, 48 turbines with a total capacity of 100.8 MW have been installed, while the Chandgarh site in Madhya Pradesh hosts 46 turbines with a capacity of 92 MW. These installations use cutting-edge Suzlon and Gamesa technologies to harness wind power effectively. The project contributes approximately 368.8 GWh of electricity annually, displacing fossil fuel-derived grid power and preventing the emission of 364,244 tons of CO₂ equivalent per year.
This large-scale renewable energy project addresses India’s growing electricity demand while aligning with national goals of reducing fossil fuel dependency and combating climate change.
192.8 MW total capacity (100.8 MW at Tejuva site, 92 MW at Chandgarh site)
