What the project does.

This project generates renewable electricity by harnessing wind energy across multiple sites in Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh, India. By installing and operating wind turbine generators, it delivers clean power directly to the national grid, reducing reliance on fossil fuel-based electricity generation.

With a total installed capacity of 95.5 MW across 56 turbines, the project replaces carbon-intensive energy sources and contributes to large-scale emissions reductions. Over its crediting period, it is expected to avoid significant greenhouse gas emissions while supporting India’s transition toward a more sustainable energy mix.

As a bundled renewable energy initiative, the project combines multiple wind installations into a single, scalable climate solution, demonstrating how distributed clean energy infrastructure can deliver measurable climate impact while supporting regional development.
