Reduced construction emissions, increased use of certified sustainable materials
Verified carbon projects sit alongside reduction. They do not make a venue or event carbon neutral or net zero.
What the project does.
This innovative project is redefining sustainable construction by replacing traditional high-emission materials with biobased modular wood components. Conventional construction heavily relies on carbon-intensive materials like concrete, which significantly contribute to global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. This prefabricated modular approach reduces emissions by incorporating sustainably sourced timber and low-carbon building techniques.
The aim of the project is to integrate architectural design software with industrialized manufacturing, leading to:
By advancing low-carbon construction, this project actively contributes to the EU’s climate action goals, providing a scalable, sustainable alternative to traditional building methods.
