3.4 Million Acres Protected in Bolivia. What This Means for the Amazon
One Tribe · April 17, 2026 · 2 minutes read

Not every sustainability claim comes with a number behind it. This one does.
One Tribe connects the carbon footprint of events to active conservation funding. In Bolivia, one of those funded projects has delivered a confirmed result.
The Project
The Rainforest Climate Action Fund supported a protection effort in one of the Amazon’s most critical regions for biodiversity.
The original target was 2 million acres. The project delivered 3.4 million acres.
Each acre of this forest stores 223 tonnes of carbon. The forest supports threatened species and local communities whose livelihoods depend on it remaining intact.
“Your impact through the Rainforest Climate Action Fund really adds up. Your donations helped us to fund an urgent project in Bolivia, which successfully protected 3.4 million acres of rainforest in one of the Amazon’s most critical regions for biodiversity, far exceeding our original goal of 2 million acres.
With 223 tonnes of carbon stored in every acre of this forest, every additional acre protected is a win for our climate, for threatened species, and for the local communities whose livelihoods rely on the forests remaining healthy and intact.”
Vicky Wallace, Fundraising Manager, Rainforest Trust
What This Means for Venues?
When a venue measures its events through One Tribe, that data does not stop at the report. It is connected to a funding structure that supports projects with confirmed, reportable outcomes.
The Bolivia project is one result of that structure. Named. Verified. Independently reported.
For venue managers presenting sustainability credentials to corporate clients, this is the difference between a claim and a record. Your clients are not being asked to take your word for it. They can see the project, the acreage, and the outcome for themselves.
That is what One Tribe delivers. Not sustainability as a statement. Verified impact as a measurable, shareable result.
